Ontario Class C Airspace Proposal – Virtual Meeting Notice – August 19, 2026 5pm-7pm

Southern California Airspace Users Working Group – Update!

This occasional email is a communication from the So. Cal. Airspace Users Working Group (SCAUWG).  Our objective is to increase safety in the Southern California airspace and keep all those who fly within aware of changes or concerns.

This is to make you aware of proposed changes to the Ontario class Charlie airspace. The bottom line is a change to allow safer operations at Cable and Chino.
The FAA is proposing a change to the Ontario, KONT, airspace.  Currently, the carve outs for Cable (KCCB) and for Chino (KCNO) have regularly caused some concern among pilots flying a downwind at those airports that possibly incurs into the ONT space.  This change addresses both of those carve outs.
