To support our local community this year, the Redlands Airport Association is once again hosting a charity toy drive to benefit The Salvation Army San Bernardino Corps. The Salvation Army has been helping families with holiday needs since 1891. The toys collected will go to kids in the local area. Our friends at The Salvation Army are extremely excited to have our help.
The 2025 Toy Drive Is On!
This is our 5th year collecting toys for the Salvation Army. Here’s how our toy drive works. On November 1st through December 5th we collect toys at various businesses and organizations in the local community. These businesses and organizations host one of our authorized collection boxes for people to drop off a new unwrapped toy. These businesses and organizations are located in convenient locations in the local community and many of them have done this for us in previous years. We appreciate their support!
On Saturday December 6, 2025, we will have a final toy collection event at the lobby of Redlands Municipal Airport. To help bring the community out to donate toys, we will be serving up a pancake breakfast in the morning and a BBQ lunch in the afternoon. We plan on having flight simulators in the lobby for kids to experience controlling an aircraft. Santa will be a guest too and will visit with the kids, and hand out candy. We will also be hosting a LifeStream blood drive for those that wished to donate.
There will be aircraft on display for our guests to view. At the conclusion of the event the Salvation Army will pick -up all toys collected in the drive and will donate them to families before the Christmas holiday
