The Redlands Airport Association once again held the “Stuff a Plane with Toys for Tots” at Redlands Municipal Airport on November 4, 2017. Life Stream had a great day too as they received 29 units of blood from donors at the event. We are not sure if any pets were adopted from YAPS yet, but it may happen. The Page Project appeared to have done well collecting some supplies too! Lots of exhibitors, cars, planes and even Santa. A good time was had by all.

Our toy drive continued until December 1st. It was a great haul too. We collected about 73 bags with an estimated 2500 toys. We also donated almost $1200.00 to Toys for Tots. Why did we do so well this year? In addition to the efforts of our members we were helped by the employees and their management at the following businesses.
Please return their kindness with your patronage of their businesses…
The money and toys were delivered to the USMC Reserve unit at 29 Palms on 12-2-17 by 24 pilots and crews. After some photo ops and clowning around we almost filled the USMC truck that came to pick up the toys. We are sure there will be some smiling children in San Bernardino and Riverside County as a result of our efforts.

Thank you to all donors, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, and the City of Redlands. We couldn’t do this wonderful charity event without your help.
